2 cups mashed bananas
2/3 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2/3 cup shortening
2 teaspoons baking soda

2 2/3 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
2/3 cup chopped pecans
