In November 2023, singer Cassie (Casandra Ventura) filed a lawsuit against her former partner, Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that he subjected her to physical and s*xual *buse throughout their relationship.
The complaint claimed that Combs’ *buse ranged from beating Ventura to forcing her to have s*x with other men and r*ping her in her home in 2018.
Since then, eight other women and two men have sued Combs, accusing him of a variety of *busive behaviors, including s*xual harassment, r*pe, unauthorized p*rnography, and s*x trafficking.
The situation escalated in March when federal agents raided Combs’ properties in Miami and Los Angeles, and later, on September 16, federal agents arrested Combs at a Manhattan hotel following an indictment by numerous individuals.
The music mogul was charged with ext*rtion and s*x trafficking, to which he pleaded not guilty.
After the raids, Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, maintained that his client is “innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name.”
Combs has denied all the allegations made by his accusers.
“I have stayed silent and watched people try to destroy my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” he said in December.
“Terrible accusations have been made against me by individuals looking to gain.
Let me be clear: I did not do any of the awful things being claimed.”
However, in May, CNN released graphic footage showing Combs *ssaulting Ventura in a hotel in 2016, closely aligning with the claims in her lawsuit.
After the videos leaked, Combs issued an apology in a video, stating, “My behavior in that video is inexcusable.”
