I drank a after 25 years. Someone gave me a glass of wine for a toast instead of the grape juice I’d asked for. Still my choice. I’d forgotten how much of a hook alcohol had in me.

Yes I did drink casually successfully…for a little while. Then after an argument I bought a bottle of wine and it was off to the races.

Took me 18 months to stop.

I really don’t recommend this as an idea. I’ve done this experiment for you. It did not work for me and others too.

And it was scarey how difficult it was to get back to sobriety and for how long the cravings took to subside.
