Logic and fate traveled in one car. After they had covered part of the road, the vehicle breaks down.
They continued the journey on foot in the hope that a car would pass or find a shelter.
After a long time walking, neither car nor shelter was found. Exhausted, they decided to rest.
Logic said: I am going to lie down under the shade of that tree by the side of the road.
Fate said: While I will lie right here in the middle of the road. Logic returned: Are you in your right mind?
Does your ear hear what your mouth says? It’s not a sure thing at all, don’t you ever think you’re going to be run over by a car?
Fate continued: I don’t even care, I’ll sleep right where I am. As soon as he said these words, he lay down to sleep in the middle of the road.
As for logic, he went to the side of the road and lay down safely under the shade of the tree.
After some time, a loaded vehicle comes at high speed, and when he noticed that a person was standing motionless on the road, it was already too late to brake.
Therefore, with an involuntary reaction, the driver swerved the vehicle and headed towards the tree under which the logician was sleeping.
Of course, logic died immediately, while fate lived on.
Lesson: Dear friends, such is life. Sometimes luck plays a big role in people’s lives, even though it may be totally against logic.
Maybe delaying the trip and missing the train or bus is better for you.
Maybe losing a job is in your best interest. Maybe what you don’t like is in your favor.
Therefore, do not lose faith and hope from the events of life, because God willing, it is in your favor.
Friends, I want to tell you something about the main goals that a person should have in life: A farmer had a dog that sat all day by the side of the road and waited for cars to pass.
As soon as a car passed, he followed behind it, barking and running as hard as he could to catch the car.
One day, his neighbor asks the farmer: Do you think your dog will ever catch a car? The farmer replied: This is not what worries me. What worries me is, let’s face it, he caught one, the thing is what he will do next.
Many people in life behave just like dogs who cling to vain goals. Study your life, evaluate what your purpose is, what is the objective worth fighting for.
Don’t chase after things that in reality have no value.
Let’s assume that your goal is to become rich and have a lot of income.
You spent all your youth and gave up many other pleasures of this life just to become rich at sixty-five years old. That’s where you became seventy-five years old and rich.
Now what? Friends, since we started with short stories, I’m closing with a beautiful story that I think you will like: A respected professor with scientific degrees and a common man went camping, pitched a tent and fell asleep .
After a few hours, the simple man woke up his friend and asked him: Come, look up at the sky and tell me what you see?
The professor with scientific degrees answered: I see millions of stars.
The common man asks: What does this mean? The scientist thought for a minute: Looking at it astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and possibly even more planets.
Looking at it from an astrological point of view, people belonging to the Aries sign will have a not very good month.
Looking at the time, it tells me that it must be about three-twenty at night.
Looking at it spiritually, it is more obvious that God is all powerful while we are small and insignificant.
Meteorologically, it looks like we’re going to have a nice day tomorrow.
What does it mean to you? The simple man was silent for a while and said: Looking at it from a practical point of view, it tells me that they have taken our tent.
Lesson: Educate yourself the right way and apply your knowledge where applicable. I really hope you enjoyed all these short stories and I’m curious to know your opinions about the content of this site.
That’s why I invite you to give your opinions, I welcome even if you have any dissatisfaction or with any topic on which you do not agree with me.
All I have to do, friends, is to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my stories.
