There’s something truly comforting about bringing a touch of nostalgia to the dinner table, and this Snickers Poke Cake does just that.

Inspired by the beloved Snickers candy bar, with its gooey caramel, nuts, and chocolate, this cake transforms these elements into a delightful dessert that’s just as fun to make as it is to eat.

It’s perfect for any family gathering, potluck, or when you just need something sweet and satisfying to lighten up the weekend.

This rich and delightful cake pairs beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on the side.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even serve it with a hot cup of coffee to balance the sweetness, or a glass of cold milk for the little ones to enjoy a cozy, family dessert time.

Baking this is the key to my husband's heart; he can't resist it

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix (plus required ingredients on the box like eggs, oil, and water)
1 cup caramel sauce
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped Snickers bars
1 cup whipped topping
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
Chocolate syrup for drizzling

Directions

1. Prepare the chocolate cake according to the package instructions. Use a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake as directed.

2. Once the cake is baked and still warm, use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top of the cake.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the caramel sauce and sweetened condensed milk. Pour this mixture evenly over the cake, making sure it gets into the holes.

4. Sprinkle the chopped Snickers bars over the cake, pressing them lightly into the top.

5. Allow the cake to cool completely, then spread the whipped topping over the entire cake.

6. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top, and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Add more snickers if desired.

7. Refrigerate the cake for at least one hour before serving to let the flavors meld together.

Variations & Tips

For a fun twist on this classic, try using different types of candy bars based on what your family enjoys.

You can also swap out the peanuts for pecans or almonds if you prefer a different kind of nutty crunch.

For those looking to cut down on sugar, consider using sugar-free caramel sauce and low-fat whipped topping.
