School Can be a Snooze

Have you ever found yourself dozing off in class? Well, little Mary Margaret took it to a whole new level.

This little girl had a knack for falling asleep during her Catholic School lessons. And let me tell you, her teacher was not pleased!

One day, while Mary Margaret was blissfully dreaming away, her teacher, a stern Nun, decided to put her knowledge to the test.

She called out to Mary Margaret, expecting a sleepy and confused response.

“Tell me, Mary Margaret, who created the universe?”

But Mary Margaret didn’t flinch. It seemed like she was in a whole other world. That’s when her friend Johnny, who sat behind her, decided to lend a hand. Or should I say, a pencil.

Without hesitation, Johnny jabbed Mary Margaret in the rear with his pencil. It wasn’t the most polite wakeup call, but it got the job done.

“God Almighty!” shouted Mary Margaret, startled from her slumber.

The Nun, surprisingly impressed, said, “Very good,” and continued with the class. But little did she know, this was just the beginning.

Later on, the Nun proceeded with another question, hoping to engage Mary Margaret in the lesson. She asked, “Who is our Lord and Savior?”

Mary Margaret, still lost in dreamland, remained motionless. Once again, Johnny had her back. With a quick nudge, he brought her back to reality.

“Jesus Christ!!!” shouted Mary Margaret, waking up from her nap.

The Nun, impressed by Mary Margaret’s correct answer, praised her once again. And just like that, Mary Margaret dozed off once more.

Not willing to give up on her student, the Nun decided to take a different approach. She asked Mary Margaret an unconventional question. “What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?”

This time, Johnny knew it was time to intervene again. But what he didn’t expect was the reaction he triggered.

Mary Margaret jumped up, wide awake, and exclaimed, “If you stick that damn thing in me one more time, I’ll break it in half!”

And with that, the poor Nun fainted. It’s safe to say she didn’t see that coming.

So, the next time you find yourself falling asleep in class, just remember the tale of little Mary Margaret. And if you enjoyed this light-hearted joke, don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with your family and friends on Facebook. Laughter is best when shared, after all!
